Meet the founder                                                                  

 

The idea for creating a sustainable clothing label came somewhere driving my van in the south of France. Tasting the feeling of full freedom and enjoying nature at its purest, I realized how little we actually need. And how much we tend to complicate our lives. A desire for more simplicity came already before I started my journey with the van, but it’s there I got to experience it - and its value - for the first time. I felt connected with the world around me again, and started to see more clearly what we needed, as people, and as our being a part of our planet. I realized we can do better. At living happier lives, and taking care of the planet we live in.

 

 

The conscious generation is pioneering in that positive change. Transformational change is needed to improve the current fast fashion trend, which we can only do together by making conscious consuming choices. The conscious generation is a fresh step in the snow into creating a more sustainable fashion industry, who thinks and cares about where clothes are made, with what materials, by who, how they are transported and how durable they are.

As a result, The conscious generation is founded: creating with eyes wide open.  The designs contain meaningful messages, to help people become happier versions of themselves, while integrating nature and people in the process. Offering value beyond the products, but throughout the whole production process and beyond. I hope to create designs that inspire you. To feel more connected to the world around you. 

 

I hope to give you your new favourite tee, that inspires you and brings you peace upon wearing. But always remember; the most sustainable garment is the one in your closet. The conscious generation is second best. Join me in my mission to create beauty in a way that last, become part of a community that cares!
